8.My Living Canvas...
She was laughing out loud with others and I was still trying to beat the heat of those spices, panting and trying to take a sip of the tea to calm myself down but whenever I took some extra sip at a time it starts firecrackers in my mouth again activating my receptors. She came close to me and wiped my tears off and said, come let's go otherwise we will miss it. Can't we do this some other day, I said. Anamika in no mood to hear me out took the plate from my hand and pulled me up. Anamika took a bite from my plate and she was enjoying those spices and she told me to walk fast. I on the other hand in no mood to move any further. Anamika started pushing me from her back simultaneously she was enjoying those "Pire aaloo".
We headed towards the unknown destination and if I am not wrong then I was being pushed by her to her destination. I started following her to her. "Jana jaruri hai kya"(Is it important to go) I said to her and she started cheering while enjoying my plate of Pire Aaloo "Hmmm hmmm… you can do it". She was in her mood while going up sometimes cheering me up, sometimes pulling me to walk fast.
We reached the top where she wanted to bring me. She was happy and in excitement, she opened her arm and dropped the leftover on top of me.
Aditya- and the icing on the cake
Anamika- Oh! Sorry .... sorry .. I didn't mean to
Aditya- Okay...Okay
I was trying to clean my clothes and before I could say another word she was in her mood and was enjoying by her open arms. With the setting sun, the whole sky was getting painted like a canvas and she, she was the living beauty of the canvas. The stain was there in my shirt but now I didn't care about it anymore so I stopped trying to clean it and started enjoying this live canvas which was getting painted by her and the sun. And the real icing on the cake was this abandoned point of this town where we were the only one enjoying the sunset basically she was the one, I was enjoying my living canvas and wanted to be part of that canvas holding her in my hand and kissing her in midst of twilight.
I was happy and lost again in my thoughts.
Anamika- Adi, come here... come on, I Bet Mr. Explorer you have never ever enjoyed this kind of sunset.
Anamika at her best again disrupting my thoughts, I started moving towards her ...
Anamika- Again you were lost, whose most important than this sunset.
I uttered slowly the one who took me here and she was like Who???
Aditya- No one, I was just lost in this beauty, Never ever seen beauty like this… and clearly, you have won this won
Anamika- Hahaha… Finally, you accepted it
and she started humming
Aditya- Only this one
Anamika- and that Pire Aloo was also mine
Aditya- But …..
Anamika- What but?
Aditya- Okay baba but it's a tie
And we started arguing over who won today's trophy and nature around was enjoying our argument along with setting sun. It's twilight and she turned my head towards sky ending our argument. I fell silent and was amazed by this amazing view.
Aditya- Thanks Anamika, for today
Anamika- Thanks for what and there is more to explore but for next time.
We headed down the hill talking, she was the one talking and I was only listening. I asked her can I drop her to her home but instead, she accompanied me to the bus stop so, that I can board the last bus and said she still has some work left in "PATHSHALA" and waved her hand and bus started moving and I waved her back. She said out loud you don't always have to wait for a Sunday Adiholic, you can drop by any time at PATHSHALA I, Books and some dusty work will always be there to welcome you and she disappeared.
